I love using protein shakes for coffee creamer, too. Current fav is the Fairlife chocolate in iced coffee! I need to pick up some of that Olive Garden dupe dressing.

Enjoyed the video very much, but I would have been curious to know the cost of the meal that you made..... It does seem like with buying both bags of tacos. This meal probably costs approximately twenty to twenty five dollars.... It seems like at aldi, there may have been less expensive options?

🌷The muffin extender should be 1/2c flour and 1t Baking Powder. NOT 1t Baking soda that is too much, maybe if using baking soda use 1/4 to 1/2t it will be gross with 1t Baking soda! 😊

I have a 4-cup mr. Coffee maker that is going on 30 years old. Use it at least once a day and it's going strong. I only use my big coffee maker at holidays when there is a crowd in the house. I originally bought it because I was going through a whole 10 cup pot a day and had to cut back.

I see you like Aldi a lot! Do you like and shop at Aldi more than Walmart? We've never shopped at Aldi's.

I disagree slightly on the starches. I buy those in bulk (pasta rice etc) and one week I buy the rice and a different week I buy the pasta etc but I don’t eat all of it in the same week. I will eat 2 cups out of a 25lb bag of rice or 1 pack of pasta out of an 8 pack and the rest sits in my pantry and when I need neither I buy a 10 or 20lb of potatoes etc etc. The concept is essentially the same but by buying in bulk I get the luxury of variety and the saving in price :)

I heard that Americans eat cereal, bread, milk, coffee, juice for breakfast, hamburgers, fries, fried chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, apples, bananas, and Coke for lunch, and pizza, pasta, corn soup, black tea pudding, and cake for dinner. Is this true?

This is just a suggestion but it would be great to see how many meals you could make for a week out of $17.50 using pantry ingredients as well. Bet you could make a good few meals for it.

Our Aldi and WM seem to compete which is annoying as others say how much cheaper Aldi is. On some things yes and at least they do have sales each week.

It’s funny how different we can all feel at different times of the year. I like summer because it’s the time when I didn’t have to make school lunches , rush around getting children to school and do homework etc… I’d start feeling dread coming up to the end of summer and having to get sorted for back to school. Four of my five children are finished school and are through university. My youngest is in university. It goes so fast. Now summer is good and the other seasons are good too.,

We love the pork schnitzel Aldi has in the freezer section. We first tried it in October and every time I see it, I pick up a box. Delicious!

I haven’t been to Aldi in awhile, so a lot of the things you showed are new to me. Btw, the Stauffer’s whales are the best cheddar cracker PERIOD 😆 You look very lovely in that peach sweater- it’s definitely in your color wheel!!

I just made sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast biscuits for a lot cheaper than the Aldi ones in the box. Aldi has little round sausages (got these on sale), and biscuits (2) in can there too. Baked 10 scrambled eggs in a rectangular dish. I made them, cooled them, wrapped them in wax paper and froze them in ziploc baggies. I just used half a sausage patty. Got 16 biscuits. Saved about $8. They also have ham breakfast slices for biscuits at Aldi but they are high. Topped thise with a cheese slice. So good.

I never like the looks of strawberries anymore. Mostly they are yellow not red.

Aldi is my go to market. They don't have everything I need all the time, so I do stop at the larger markets too.

The Habanero cheese snack sticks are yummy. I don’t normally like anything spicy but these have a nice little kick to them. And the Aldi veggie straws are the best! Way better than the name brand. Their sourdough bread is good too.

The Olive Garden Italian dressing plus a little Worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning, makes an amazing 24hr marinade for chicken breast.

I’ve tried the Aldi Bear Cree dupe for Broccoli cheddar and I’ll never but it again. Mostly tasteless.

I WISH we had Aldi in Utah, but it's no where in the state! We have Smith's (Kroger) and several that are just in Utah--Macey's and Harmon's, plus Walmart and Target. I still watch your Aldi videos, but some of your others are more useful for me.
